PDR services
We repair dents without filler or paint when the panel allows it. Mobile. Central Florida. By appointment.
What we do
Paintless dent repair (PDR)
Paintless dent repair (PDR) reshapes the metal using industry-specific PDR tools from behind the panel (or with glue-pull methods when the back cannot be reached) so the dent comes up. This avoids filler, sanding, or new paint. A factory finish is our primary goal.
Door ding repair
A door ding is a small and normally round parking-lot hit. It is the most common of all PDR jobs. Dings tend to be simple and quickly repaired.
Crease repair
A crease is a line of displaced metal, not a single round low. These normally occur when the damaging party drags across the panel. A crease is a far more difficult repair than a door ding. PDR works the line back in stages when the paint has not split and the back of the panel can be reached. Many creases are sharp, stretched, and may not fully return. If so, we will let you know.
Aluminum PDR
Aluminum panels can be repaired just as often as standard steel, but it is a more advanced repair process. Aluminum has little spring-back compared with steel, so the work is slower and less forgiving. Sharp aluminum creases or stretched areas often create significant challenges to PDR technicians.
Hail
Hail often leaves many shallow dents across a panel. PDR is the usual repair when the paint is not cracked: each dent is worked out, factory paint stays. Deep hail that stretches or splits the finish is assessed in person. Costs for repairing hail follow industry-specific charts.
Large damage
Large damage can often be repaired with PDR. Each job must be evaluated as to potential repair possibility. We can and have repaired many large damage areas. Each repair is quoted individually.
PDR training is planned and not offered yet. Travel fees may apply.
